The completely new, textured Maero fabric wraps the bestselling Cheri chair in softness and elegance, perfectly aligned with current trends. Its fine weave, with clearly visible threads in subtly varying shades, gives the furniture a distinctive character and allows for even greater freedom when arranging your dream interior. The ergonomic seat and backrest were designed primarily with user comfort in mind. The well-shaped backrest provides space for the arms to rest, significantly enhancing overall comfort. A solid, powder-coated base guarantees stability, while the chair retains its lightness and elegance. Various base color options ? from modern chrome, through classic black, to stylish gold or copper ? allow you to choose the perfect variant to suit different interiors and personal preferences.

About the designers

Studio WertelOberfell was founded in 2007 by Gernot Oberfell (1975) and Jan Wertel (1976). Both studied industrial design at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart. The studio is based in London and Munich. They both worked for several years at Ross Lovegrove Studio. Their work has been created for brands such as Sony, Yamagiwa, MGX by Materialise, Iker, BN Office Solution, DuPont Corian, Nowy Styl, Braun, and others. Studio WertelOberfell has also received prestigious awards, including Red Dot, Must Have, 3D Pioneers Challenge, and Focus Open. Some of their works have been exhibited in museums around the world and are part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The work of Jan and Gernot combines logic with the perfection of organic forms. They make optimal use of material qualities, production processes, and ergonomics.
